Behind the bar is Alan Breen, the heart and soul of the pub. A proud father of three boys and a loving partner to Alison, Alan brings the craic and character that makes Jimmy’s so special. He took over the pub in 2012, following the retirement of the original owner, Jimmy. Passionate about music, football, and maintaining the traditional charm of an Irish pub, Alan has made sure that Jimmy’s continues to stay true to its roots while embracing the times.

Though one of the smallest bars in Kerry, Jimmy’s has the biggest heart in Ireland. Come for the pints, stay for the stories, and be part of the family.
